Rest assured we have done everything possible to make our site as secure as is currently possible. Your personal information, including your contact details will be kept strictly private and confidential. And any of our staff who need to access it will handle it with the greatest care and consideration.
- How does our website use your personal data?
- The Giraffe website does not automatically store personal information about you. If you ask for literature about our products or services through the site, we only use your input for that specific request.
- Will we use your data to target you with direct mail?
- No. We won't send you any direct marketing information unless you've previously given us your consent. If you already have a mortgage (or mortgages) with us, you may have registered to receive information from us. If you now wish to opt out just let us know. We will then remove your personal data from our direct marketing databases.
- If you do opt out however, we can't let you know about product or services that may benefit you. If you wish to opt out of receiving marketing information you need to write to: Giraffe, Marketing Department, PO Box 27, One Temple Quay, Bristol BS99 7AX.
- How do we store your personal data and can you access it?
- We will store any personal data you give us securely and in confidence. You are legally entitled to ask for copies of the information we hold any time. To do so, write to: The Data Protection Officer, Giraffe, One Temple Back East, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6DX. If anything is inaccurate or out of date, let us know and we'll amend our records.
- Will we ever disclose your personal information to third parties?
- An emphatic no. We will not give your personal information to anyone else unless you've expressly authorised us to, or we're required to do so by law.
- Telephoning our call centre
- Please call us about any of our products or services. The numbers are here on our website. We record all calls for training and to allow us to monitor and improve our service. The same rigorous protection of personal data is enforced within our call centre as it is with our website.
